Etched in stainless steel, for a realistic silver effect, the swallows are unpainted in order to keep costs down. The swallows require painting using Executive Dark Grey or Falcon Grey (depending upon model base colour) and cleaning off by careful rubbing on a non-abrasive surface. The swallows can be attached to the model using contact adhesive.
