A two car coach conversion kit to model two vehicles from the prototype HSTE train. Kit contains Trailer Restaurant Unclassified Kitchen (TRUK) 10100/W40500 and a standard 8 window First Open (FO) 11000/W41000, without window surrounds. Kit can also be used to model Laboratory 21 RDB977089 (in its unconverted state) and Test Car 10. Laboratory 21 was taken into the RTC in 1986. After a period in the HSTE Grey/Blue colour scheme the vehicle was repainted into the standard RTC reversed “Raspberry Ripple” colours, without any external modifications. Test Car 10 RDB975814 was one of the former HSTE FO coaches and this conversion kit contains separate grill details to model this vehicle. Test Car 10 was used for testing with class 91s on the ECML, before being retired in 1994 and later sold for preservation.

Kit requires two Lima or Hornby (correct length) MK 3 coaches. Kit contains two vehicles.
